North Star Child Development Center

 

 

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Since 2006, our mission is to help children of all abilities achieve their maximum potential by using research based educational programs to address difficulties with behavioral management, language, social play, self help, and academic skills in an inclusive setting.

Our Inclusive program makes our services unique. Our services and educational program is centered around peer modeling and the importance of inclusion. ​Peers provide  modeling in all areas of development while developing compassion and understanding. Everyone benefits from inclusion!

We have been recognized for reaching the Star Achiever level with the Idaho STARS Quality Achievers' program. This means that we demonstrate all essential quality practices  in 13 different areas that include School Policies, Staff Training, Parent Communication, Confidentiality, Child Safety, Program Communication, Community Resources, Supportive Coaching, Active Supervision, Mealtime Routines, Outdoor Large Motor Play and more! We also received Quality Achievements in Child Development and Environments, Curriculum and Instruction, along with scoring as High Quality on the Early Childhood Rating Scale. This shows our ongoing commitment to continuing to provide quality programs for our community.
